Why is my order still processing?

Explains why an order may still be processing, what affects timing, and why the estimated completion time can change.

Short answer

Your order is still processing because it’s being manually edited by real designers, and the final completion time depends on the type and number of services, the complexity of your photo or video, and the current order queue.

How order processing works

All RetouchMe orders are edited by real photo and video designers, not automated tools. This allows us to deliver natural, high-quality results, but it also means that processing time can vary from order to order.

Each order goes through a queue and is handled individually, based on its requirements and complexity.

What affects processing time

1. Number and type of services

Orders with multiple services or advanced edits usually take longer, as each service is applied separately and reviewed for quality.

2. Complexity of your photo or video

Some images or videos require additional attention due to lighting, background details, motion, or specific user instructions. To achieve the best possible result, designers may spend more time than initially expected.

3. Order queue dynamics

Orders are processed in a live queue. Its speed can change depending on:

  • Time of day

  • Day of the week

  • Holidays

  • Overall demand from other users

This means the queue can move faster or slower at different times.

4. Estimated completion time

The estimated time shown on the order waiting screen is an approximation. It may update while your order is processing if queue conditions change or additional work is required.

Can I speed up my order?

In some cases, you may see an option to purchase higher priority on the order waiting screen. This allows your order to move ahead in the queue, but it’s not always available and depends on current workload.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the estimated time change?

The estimate is based on real-time queue conditions and may change as new orders arrive or if your order requires extra work.

Does “processing” mean something is wrong?

No. Most of the time, it simply means your order is still being edited and reviewed by a designer.

Is my order being worked on right now?

Orders are processed in sequence. Even if a designer hasn’t started yet, your order is securely in the queue and will be handled as soon as it reaches the top.

Can support speed up my order manually?

Support cannot manually change the order queue. If priority processing is available, it will appear directly on the order waiting screen.
