How do tips for designers work?

Explains how to leave a tip for the designer who edited your order, how tips are paid, how to skip the tip screen, and whether a tip can be returned.

Short answer

A tip is an optional thank-you to the designer who edited your order. To leave one, open the completed order and tap Like (thumbs up) — the app will offer you to leave a tip. Tips are paid with credits from your balance and can't be returned once sent. Tips don't affect redos.

How to leave a tip

  • Open the completed order in the RetouchMe app

  • Tap Like (thumbs up) on the order screen

  • The app will offer you to leave a tip

If you closed the tip screen earlier, open the completed order and tap Like again.

How tips are paid

Tips are deducted from your credit balance, the same way as payment for an order.

If you don't have enough credits, the app will offer you to buy more.

Tips are optional

You don't have to leave a tip. If the tip screen opens and you don't want to leave one, simply close it.

If you left a tip by mistake

Tips can't be returned. Once a tip is sent, the designer has already received it.

Tips and redos

A tip is only a thank-you to the designer. It doesn't affect redos: a tip doesn't speed up a redo or add extra redos, and you can request a redo whether or not you left a tip.

To request a redo, tap Unlike on the order preview screen and describe what should be changed. See How many revisions (redos) can I request?.

Frequently Asked Questions

I closed the tip screen. Can I still leave a tip?

Yes. Open the completed order and tap Like (thumbs up).

Do I have to leave a tip?

No. Tips are optional. Close the tip screen if you don't want to leave one.

Can I get a tip back?

No. Tips can't be returned because the designer has already received them.

I left a tip, but my redo wasn't done. What should I do?

Tips and redos are separate — a tip doesn't start or speed up a redo. To request a redo, tap Unlike on the order preview screen and describe what should be changed.
