Can I submit an order with text-only instructions?

Learn how to submit an order using text-only instructions and when to use the “Individual Retouch” service.

Updated this week

Short answer

Yes. To submit an order with custom text instructions, you need to select the Individual Retouch service. This service allows you to describe your request in your own words.

How text-only orders work

If your request doesn’t fit standard editing services, you can choose Individual Retouch.

With this option:

  • You provide detailed written instructions

  • The designer follows your custom request

  • The editing is tailored to your description

Clear and specific instructions help achieve the best possible result.

Important limitation

The Individual Retouch service cannot be combined with other editing services in the same order.

If you select Individual Retouch:

  • It must be the only service in the order

  • Other predefined services cannot be added

If you need both standard services and custom instructions, you will need to create separate orders.

When should I use Individual Retouch?

Use Individual Retouch when:

  • Your request is highly specific

  • The desired edit isn’t covered by standard services

  • You need a fully customized adjustment

For standard edits (such as body shaping, background removal, skin retouching, etc.), it’s recommended to use predefined services instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add text instructions to a predefined service?

No. Predefined services cannot include custom text instructions.

If you need to describe your request in your own words, you must select the Individual Retouch service. This option is designed specifically for fully customized editing instructions.

Why can’t I combine Individual Retouch with other services?

Individual Retouch is processed as a separate, fully customized task. Combining it with predefined services would conflict with the standard pricing and workflow structure.

Is Individual Retouch more expensive?

The credit cost depends on the service pricing shown in the app before submission.
